INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We receive, collect and store any information you provide via the site, or provide us with in any other way. This includes personal information provided via forms on the site such as your name, email address, phone number, your job title, details of your professional registration or professional and educational background, and details of any enquiries or feedback you submit via the site. Information could also include a record of events you’ve registered to attend via the site, dietary requirements you’ve listed and any details about your professional education that you provide when registering for events.

 

In addition, we automatically collect information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.

 

We use Google Analytics to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. HOW WE USE INFORMATION


We collect such non-personal and personal information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide visitors and users with responses to feedback and enquiries, and otherwise provide direct assistance to visitors and users

  2. Where appropriate consent has been given, to allow us to contact visitors and users with general or personalised service-related notices and marketing (such as news or information about forthcoming events which may be of interest to you)

  3. To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred non-personal Information, which we may use to provide and improve our services.

 

In addition, we use information provided by users when registering for an event via the site for the following purposes:

  1. To compile event registration forms and badges and to help us cater for dietary requirements

  2. To communicate with delegates about event timings, preparation required or course content

  3. To provide course leaders with professional information about delegates to allow tailoring of training to meet each cohort’s specific needs

  4. To produce certificates as proof of attendance

  5. To gather feedback on events (note that users’ personal data is stored separately from course feedback provided)

 

If we need to contact you using the information you have provided for any of the above purposes, we may do so via email, telephone, text messages, and postal mail.

MARKETING

 

We will only email you details of general or personalised service-related notices and marketing (such as news or information about forthcoming events which may be of interest to you), if you have given consent for us to do when using the site.

 

HOW WE STORE INFORMATION

 

As the site is hosted on the Wix.com platform, your data is stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

 

For administration purposes, we may download and file data provided via the site locally on Medway NHS Foundation Trust secure servers and secure local paper filing systems. This is to keep a record of all course attendees so we can then provide you with, for example, a course history or replacement certificates.

You can make a request to access, amend, erase or restrict processing of your data at any time (see ‘Your Rights’ below).
